SHEFFIELD boss Simon Stead says nothing less than a win will do when they travel to Berwick on Saturday – but admits they can’t underestimate their opponents (7pm).

A fifth straight victory for the Window Centre Tigers would see them pull further clear of fellow play-off chasers Redcar.

But despite Berwick sitting rock bottom of the Championship table, Stead insists his side will still need to be at the top of their game.

“The league table doesn’t lie at the end of the day but you can never write anyone off in this league,” Stead said.

“Berwick have shown the odd glimpse of improvement in recent weeks but having said that, it’s a place we should be getting a result from if all seven of our riders race to their capabilities.

“The big win over Newcastle on Thursday has certainly provided the boys with an extra boost and hopefully we can keep the ball rolling on Saturday.

“I won’t settle for anything less than a win – but I also want to make sure the lads come away with what would be four very important league points as well.”

BERWICK: Nick Morris, David Howe, Dany Gappmaier, Kevin Doolan, Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen, Jye Etheridge, TBC.

SHEFFIELD: Josh Grajczonek, Todd Kurtz, Lasse Bjerre, Josh Bates, Kyle Howarth, Jan Graversen, Georgie Wood.
