SHEFFIELD boss Simon Stead sees no reason why his side can’t keep their winning run going at Glasgow on Saturday (7pm).

The Window Centre Tigers have stormed to 12 wins on the bounce and will now look to complete a quick-fire double over one of their title rivals.

They know they will be faced with perhaps their toughest test yet, taking on the only other side in the SGB Championship with an unbeaten home record.

But Stead has urged them to focus on putting in another strong performance to continue their remarkable run.

Stead said: “We know that an away trip to Glasgow is going to be very difficult, but we don’t want our winning run to end.

“We’ve just got to make sure we’re at our best, and I don’t see any reason why we can’t get another win on the board.

“They’re very good at home, but we believe we can go there and get the job done, so we’ll focus on putting in another strong performance.”

The Owlerton outfit will be without Josh Bates due to the World Under 21 Team Cup Final, with Glasgow’s Dan Bewley also riding for Great Britain.

Lewis Kerr steps in as a guest for Sheffield, who again operate rider replacement for Todd Kurtz, whilst Ryan Douglas lines up at No.2 for the home side.

GLASGOW: Richie Worrall, Ryan Douglas, Aaron Summers, Nike Lunna R/R, Richard Lawson, Tom Perry, Jack Smith.
SHEFFIELD: Josh Grajczonek, Todd Kurtz R/R, Lasse Bjerre, Lewis Kerr, Kyle Howarth, Jan Graversen, Georgie Wood.
