SHEFFIELD No.1 Josh Grajczonek says they are determined to keep their winning run going as they kick-off a hectic weekend at Redcar on Friday night (7.30).

The Window Centre Tigers will head to Teesside before the Bears make the trip to Owlerton on Sunday for the second part of a double header, which gets underway against Ipswich at 3.30.

Grajczonek has been instrumental to their run of 13 straight wins – but they are now looking to keep up their form with the Championship play-offs on the horizon.

Grajczonek said: “We just want to try and maintain our home record with the two meetings coming up this Sunday, and hopefully we can get a win when we go to Redcar on Friday.

“We need to get through these meetings unscathed, then we’ll think about the play-offs when we come to it.

“We can’t get ahead of ourselves and a lot can still happen before the play-offs. We just want to keep winning meetings and keep riding well like we’ve been doing recently.”

The Tigers will welcome back Josh Bates, Lasse Bjerre and Georgie Wood after they missed Saturday’s remarkable win at Glasgow.

Rider replacement again covers for Todd Kurtz, who is still sidelined through injury, whilst Redcar are at full strength.

REDCAR: Ben Barker, Ellis Perks, Jason Garrity, Jonas B Andersen, Charles Wright, Tobias Busch, Danny Ayres.
SHEFFIELD: Josh Grajczonek, Todd Kurtz R/R, Lasse Bjerre, Josh Bates, Kyle Howarth, Jan Graversen, Georgie Wood.
