SHEFFELD Tigers are to make an early start to their double header at Owlerton this Thursday.

The title chasing side face Edinburgh at 7pm – NOT 7.15 as previously advertised – in the first half of a bumper 30 race programme as they look to complete all their fixtures before the deadline for play-offs.

Shortly afterwards they will race Ipswich – and that means all three teams in action are title hopefuls with the play-off race taking shape nicely.

Tigers co-boss Damien Bates said: “We want to make an earlier start to ensure we get all 30 races in on the night, we don’t want to leave anything to chance.

“It will be busy, it will be demanding for our lads, and we hope the earlier start won’t inconvenience too many people.”

Tigers are awaiting fitness updates on injured pair Josh Bates and Todd Kurtz.

Fans are also reminded they are back at Owlerton next Monday, September 18, when they face Redcar.
