Sunday October 08, 2017
GRAND FINAL hero Scott Nicholls rejoins Tigers for Monday's promotion / relegation clash with with Premiership bottom club Leicester.

Nicholls, the former Grand Prix racer, replaces the injured Josh Grajczonek and will also ride in the deciding leg at Beaumont Park on Wednesday.

"Josh is almost impossible to replace but Scott is the perfect choice and he did a great job for us when we won the league at Ipswich!"

Tigers are hoping to make the top level of British Speedway for the first time in almost 30 years - apart from when the sport went to just one senior league in 1995/96.

SHEFFIELD: Scott Nicholls, Todd Kurtz, Lasse Bjerre, Josh Bates, Kyle Howarth, Jan Graversen, Georgie Wood.

LEICESTER: Kim Nilsson, Lewis Kerr, Pawel Przedpelski, Erik Riss, Danny King, Cameron Heeps, Kyle Newman.
